When Booster and the JLA come under attack by a mysterious and unrelenting new villain known as Red Velvet, Booster comes to realize she’s actually the fiance he left at the altar.
Our Take
A surprisingly sweet Booster episode that lets his goofball routine carry real consequence for once. Red Velvet’s revenge scheme is genuinely funny, and the breakup backstory gives the comedy an actual emotional floor to stand on. It moves fast, lands its jokes, and even earns its ending. Not a landmark episode, but an easy, enjoyable half hour that uses Booster better than most.
