Summary
After getting Andrew’s name from Trish and discharging herself from the hospital, Jessica goes after the person she believes is responsible for stabbing her. Jeri has lunch with Kith and then asks Malcolm to dig up some dirt on Kith’s husband Peter.
Our Take
A solid mid-season hour that splits its attention between Jessica’s bruising search for her attacker and Jeri’s increasingly messy personal scheming. The hospital-discharge opening sells Jessica’s stubbornness well, and Carrie-Anne Moss does nice work making Jeri’s manipulation feel sad rather than sinister. The Jeri subplot drags a bit, but the main investigation keeps things moving. Worth your time if you’re already invested.
