Summary
After Kilgrave strikes at someone close to Jessica, she vows to get herself imprisoned in the hopes that they can capture Kilgrave. However, Kilgrave has other plans. Meanwhile, Will ignores Trish’s orders and hunts down Kilgrave on his own.
Our Take
A dark hour that mostly works because of Krysten Ritter, who plays Jessica’s grief and self-destructive streak without ever asking for sympathy. The plan to get locked up is a bold swing, though some of the supporting subplot stuff with Will drags and feels like padding. Not the season’s best, but the ending lands hard and sets up the back half nicely.
