Summary
While Jessica, Trish, and Will try to get close enough to Kilgrave to drug him, Jessica remembers her burgeoning career as a superhero and how she fell under Kilgrave’s control.
Our Take
The flashback structure finally gives us a fuller picture of how Jessica ended up where she is, and the early superhero attempts have a scrappy charm that mostly works. The Kilgrave material is harder to sit through, deliberately so, and it drags in spots. A solid middle chapter that fills in backstory without moving the present-day plot much. Worth it for the Jessica and Trish scenes alone.
