Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Gao tries to convince Danny and the others to let her go, while Colleen slowly succumbs to illness. Meanwhile, Ward discovers that Harold isn’t as dead as he thought, and Joy learns the truth about the family secret.
Our Take
This one mostly spins its wheels while Colleen lies in bed sweating, which is exactly as gripping as it sounds. Wai Ching Ho does a lot with limited screen time as Gao, and Ward’s storyline finally moves somewhere interesting. Still, the interrogation scenes drag badly and the pacing stalls in the back half. Watchable, but you’ll feel the runtime.
