Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Danny travels to China with Claire and Colleen to find the center of Gao’s heroin operation, and faces an opponent unlike any he’s ever fought. Meanwhile, Ward prepares to tell Joy that their father was still alive.
Our Take
A step up from the New York slog, mostly because the China setting and the factory raid give the season some actual momentum. Finn Jones still struggles in the fight scenes, but the quieter moments with Danny and Gao land better than expected. The Ward subplot drags things down whenever it cuts back, though it’s finally moving somewhere. Worth watching if you’ve made it this far.
