Summary
A man claiming to be Danny Rand shows up at Rand Enterprises… 15 years after Danny Rand and his parents died in a plane crash over the Himalayas. The current owners, Joy and Ward Meacham, are skeptical of the man’s claims.
Our Take
A slow, cautious setup episode that spends most of its runtime on people refusing to believe Danny is who he says he is. Finn Jones brings some genuine warmth to the role, but the boardroom confrontations grow repetitive fast. Watchable enough if you’re curious, though it doesn’t do much to earn the two hours of setup that follow.
