Our Take
This episode splits its time across too many storylines, so nothing gets the room it needs to breathe. Medusa’s hunt for Black Bolt finally gains some momentum, but Gorgon’s side trip feels like padding. It’s an improvement over the premiere’s dour pacing, though, and there’s enough forward movement to keep moderately patient viewers on board.
