Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Cullen and Durant reunite in Salt Lake City to meet with President Grant about the future of the railroad. Meanwhile, Swede enacts his plan against the Mormons.
Our Take
A slow, talky hour that mostly sets the table for bigger things to come. The Grant meeting gives Cullen and Durant some decent friction, but the Swede subplot drags and feels like stalling. Fine for completists keeping up with the season, but casual viewers won’t miss much if they skim this one.
