Summary
Cullen and Mei take a dangerous journey through the California wilderness, escorting precious cargo. Meanwhile, Eva nurses Louise back to health.
Our Take
This is a quiet, road-trip kind of hour that leans on the odd-couple chemistry between Cullen and Mei, and for the most part it works. The wilderness trek has real tension in spots, though it slows down whenever it cuts back to Eva and Louise, where the emotional beats feel a bit forced. Worth watching, but it’s more connective tissue than a standout.
