Cullen attempts to reconnect with Elam upon his return. Meanwhile, Durant takes matters into his own hands while putting an old problem to rest.
Our Take
This is a bleak, punishing hour that turns Elam’s long-awaited return into something closer to a horror story than a reunion, and your tolerance for that will decide everything. Common does strong work with the character’s eerie new menace, but the pacing drags and Durant’s side plot feels like busywork. Worth it for the ending alone, though it’s hard to call it enjoyable.
