Our Take

The gala setting gives this episode its best material, especially the tone-deaf tribute video and The Deep’s cringe-inducing appearance, which lands the show’s corporate satire harder than anything so far. The character drama keeps building nicely too, though the middle stretch sags when the party plotting takes over. Not a huge step forward, but a solid, entertaining hour.
