Summary
Gary, Quinn, H.U.E. and KVN explore a ruined Paris where they meet Earth’s greatest visionary roboticist Kevin Van Newton, the inventor of KVN, who may be the one person who knows how to escape Final Space. Meanwhile, the Lord Commander is back, and he wants Mooncake.
Our Take
The Paris setting gives this one a nice change of pace, and Kevin Van Newton turns out to be a genuinely fun character to spend time with. The Lord Commander’s return lands harder than expected and adds some real menace to the back half. A solid middle-of-the-road episode that moves things forward without ever feeling essential.
