Summary
After uncovering what she believes is the source of Immortus’ power, Rouge tries to rally the Doom Patrol, but the rapidly aging team seems more content to enjoy the little time they have left. Meanwhile, Deric’s words weigh heavily on Vic as he considers the future of Cyborg.
Our Take
A quieter, sadder hour that mostly works because the cast sells the resigned, end-of-the-road mood so well. Some of the subplots meander and the pacing drags in the middle stretch, but the emotional beats land when they need to. Worth watching if you’re invested in these characters, though it’s setup more than payoff.
