Summary
While the fog obscures more than just the air, Vic, Cliff, Jane, and Larry are forced to relive their most shameful moments until a breakthrough is reached, and Rita begins to piece together Madame Rouge’s complex history.
Our Take
A therapy session of an episode, which fits this show perfectly. The flashback structure gets a bit repetitive by the third shameful memory, but Cliff and Jane’s confrontations land hard enough to make up for it. The Rita and Rouge subplot moves slower than it should. Worth watching for the character work, even if the season’s momentum takes a back seat here.
