Summary
Elektra convinces Matt to let her help eliminate the Yakuza from New York City. Meanwhile, Nelson & Murdoch agree to enter a plea for Frank, and Karen learns more about their new client.
Our Take
This one splits its attention between the courtroom and Elektra’s shadow games, and the balance mostly holds. The legal scenes with Frank finally give him room to be more than a scowling mystery, while Matt and Elektra’s chemistry does a lot of heavy lifting in the fight scenes. It drags a bit in the middle, but the ending lands hard enough to make it worth sitting through.
