Our Take
This one leans hard into the show’s dreamier, more symbolic side, and your patience for that will decide everything. The trip into the darkness has some striking visuals and a genuinely unsettling vibe, but it meanders in the middle stretch. The mother-son scenes afterward land better and give the hour its emotional weight. Worth a watch if you’re already invested, though it won’t convert anyone.
