Summary
A house sitter’s fiancée is kidnapped and held for ransom. Nick, the house sitter, hires Michael to rescue her, since the kidnappers mistakenly believe Nick can afford to pay a $5 million ransom.
Our Take
A fairly standard client-of-the-week setup, but the kidnapping case moves at a good clip and Donovan gets to play both con man and muscle. The fun is in watching Michael improvise his way inside the kidnappers’ operation, even if the villains are thin. Nothing special, but it’s a solid, brisk hour that fans will enjoy.
