False Flag

Episode Summary & Review

Summary

Michael is hired to track down a woman’s estranged husband, who has disappeared with their son. Michael soon finds himself pitted against somebody just as skilled and dangerous as he is.

Our Take

This one works mostly because of the guest villain, a fixer who’s genuinely Michael’s equal, which forces everyone to actually sweat a little. The missing-person case itself is pretty standard stuff and drags in the middle. Still, the cat-and-mouse stuff lands well and Fiona gets a few good moments. A solid middle-of-the-road hour, nothing you need to rush to.
