Summary
Artificial intelligence threatens to take steps in its pursuit to rule the world and attempts to take over baseball. Jim and Jules must decide if they want to embolden this emerging society ruled by machines or stay with the failing status quo.
Our Take
A fittingly weird sendoff for a show that always swung big. The AI angle is goofier than the emotional payoff deserves, and the baseball-futurism stuff gets a bit preachy, but Hank Azaria and Amanda Peet land the goodbye scenes with real warmth. It’s an uneven hour that still closes the story on its own strange terms. Worth it for fans who stuck around.
