Summary
In the aftermath of a botched assassination attempt on Commissioner Gordon’s life, Montoya vows to do everything in her power to protect Gordon. Batman’s investigation into who was behind the hit leads him down a rabbit hole with only one clear answer: trust no one.
Our Take
A tight, paranoid chase hour that gives Montoya real room to shine, and the show is better for it. The conspiracy unfolds at a nice clip without dumb luck or exposition dumps, and Batman feels like an actual detective here. The villain reveal lands a bit flat, but the ride getting there is genuinely fun. Worth your time.
