Episode Summary & Review
Summary
When Mayor Jessop assembles a task force to catch Batman, Detective Montoya is put in charge. Detectives Flass and Bullock take matters into their own hands in an attempt to trap Batman, putting Gotham in a fiery jeopardy.
Our Take
A tense police procedural hour that leans on Montoya as its moral center, and she carries it well. Flass and Bullock’s botched trap gives the episode real stakes without Batman hogging the screen. The climax gets a bit noisy, but the character work makes it easy to recommend.
