Summary
A genetically enhanced gorilla enlists Batman’s help to hunt his kidnappers.
Our Take
A talking gorilla seeking revenge sounds like a joke pitch, but the episode plays it surprisingly straight and mostly earns it. The action is solid and the villain’s poaching operation gives the story real teeth, though the middle stretch drags while Batman catches up to information we already have. Worth a watch if you like the show’s odder one-offs, but it won’t change anyone’s mind about the season.
