Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Ash and his old high school buddy Chet throw a party to lure out the thieves who stole the Delta. Meanwhile, the Deadites find the Delta and take it for a spin, and Ruby realizes who the true Chosen One is.
Our Take
The party setup gives Ted Raimi’s Chet plenty of room to be obnoxiously fun, and the banter between him and Ash carries the first half. Things sag a bit in the middle before the Deadites joyriding in the Delta livens it back up. A solid middle-of-the-road episode that coasts on charm more than actual scares, but it’s an easy, entertaining watch.
