Summary
After Malory’s brief scare with breast cancer, Archer decides to be tested for the disease with tragic results.
Our Take
A surprisingly sincere half hour hiding inside a cartoon about spies, and the cancer storyline lands harder than you’d expect. The chemo hallucinations and Burt Reynolds cameo keep the jokes coming while Archer gets some real vulnerability for once. It’s an odd pivot for the show but it works, and it’s one of the season’s best.
