Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Prince Eros returns to the Kingdom of Bellenus and threatens to usurp Apollo Gauntlet’s position as local hero, as well as his own brother Orenthal’s claim to the royal throne.
Our Take
The rivalry premise gives the show its first real spine, and Eros makes for a fun foil to Apollo’s stubborn laziness. The jokes land more often than in the premiere, even if the flat animation and clipped runtime keep some gags from breathing. A solid step up, worth a watch if the pilot’s oddball humor worked for you at all.
