Episode Summary & Review
Summary
As Rei’s plan unravels, Arisu takes a risky move to keep his team alive. On a separate stage, Usagi and Ryuji face a relentless barrage of lasers.
Our Take
A tense hour that mostly earns its high stakes. The laser gauntlet Usagi and Ryuji endure is the standout, genuinely exhausting in the best way, with real choreography instead of quick-cut cheats. Arisu’s gamble keeps the tension humming even when the dialogue gets a bit explanatory. A couple of pacing lulls keep it from perfection, but this is the season firing on nearly all cylinders.
