Episode Summary & Review

Summary

The Superior sends Terrence to trigger Terragenesis in Nadeer, believing that she’s an Inhuman. However, they all got an explosive surprise. Meanwhile, Coulson and Mack track down the woman that Aida’s appearance was based on and try to use her to find Melinda.

Our Take

A mostly plot-forward hour that sets up bigger things without offering much punch on its own. The explosion at the center gets a genuinely surprising casualty, and Coulson’s hunt for Aida’s lookalike adds some fun spy work. Still, the pacing sags in the middle and the villain side remains pretty flat. Worth watching for the ending alone, just don’t expect a standout.
