Summary
The Superior and his men abduct Billy Koenig to get the location of the Darkhold from him. While Coulson and his field team go after Sam, Fitz, Jemma, and Mack deal with the Holden LMD that they captured.
Our Take
A goofy bottle episode that leans hard on the Koenig brothers, which works if you find their shtick charming and grates if you don’t. Patton Oswalt clearly has fun playing multiple roles, and the L subplot at the base moves the season’s bigger story along nicely. Worth a watch, just don’t expect the momentum of recent weeks.
