Episode Summary & Review
Summary
As Robert Gonzales makes his move, Coulson must do whatever it takes to protect the future of S.H.I.E.L.D. Meanwhile, Skye’s journey to control her powers takes a surprising turn when she meets the enigmatic Inhuman named Lincoln.
Our Take
A setup episode that mostly works because Skye’s storyline finally gets some real forward motion. Lincoln is a decent addition, and the Afterlife material carries an intriguing mystery vibe even if it leans a bit vague. The Gonzales/Coulson political standoff drags by comparison. Solid, but you’re mostly waiting for the pieces to matter.
