Episode Summary & Review
Summary
War comes to Coulson’s doorstep in a way he never anticipated as shocking revelations are brought to light, and Skye struggles to control her new abilities but will soon make a decision that irrevocably changes her life.
Our Take
This one leans hard on flashbacks to explain the SHIELD/HYDRA fallout, and while it fills in some gaps nicely, it slows the momentum the season had been building. The Skye material works better, giving her a real turning point after weeks of drifting. A solid setup hour that mostly convinces you the next episode will be the payoff.
