Summary
Stranded in a desolate land, Fionna, Cake, and Simon are stranded and resort to do or die measures to escape.
Our Take
This is a grim, slow-burning middle chapter that leans hard on Simon’s despair, and your tolerance for watching characters suffer in the cold will decide how much you get out of it. There are a couple of genuinely unnerving moments and a nice payoff near the end, but the pacing sags in the middle. Worth it for the ending, just be ready to wait through some bleak filler first.
