Summary
To rescue Cole from the past, Dr. Jones must convince a former ally that her mission is worth saving.
Our Take
This is a slower, talkier hour that leans heavily on exposition about Jones’s past, and the emotional payoff only partially lands. Katarina Werner does solid work making Jones feel like a real person with regrets, but the rescue plot around Cole moves at a crawl. Fine if you’re invested in the characters, though it’s the first episode of the season that feels like table-setting.
