The best thing the Toy Story universe ever did outside the films, and criminally low-profile. Tim Allen leans into a straight-faced space ranger played for sincerity, alongside hotshot crew, shapeshifter princess Mira Nova, robot XR, and a genuinely menacing Emperor Zurg.
The show commits to real sci-fi storytelling: two-parters with consequences, moral dilemmas, characters who get destroyed and stay destroyed, which gave kids actual tension. The humor is sharp without undercutting the stakes, and the movie that kicked it off is an excellent entry point.
Sixty five short episodes, every one worth your time. Our score: 7/10. The most underrated entry on this entire list.
