Summary
Seventeen years after disappearing on the eve of his wife’s murder trial, a man from Nick’s past returns to Vegas looking to prove his innocence by relying on new technological tools.
Our Take
A change-of-pace episode that leans on an old cold case instead of the usual courtroom banter, and it mostly works. The DNA angle gives Nick some decent material and Belushi sells the history with the client, even if the resolution arrives a bit too neatly. Not the funniest hour, but a solid one that gives the show a little more weight than usual.
