Summary
Nick’s personal ties to a young man charged with sexual assault prompt him to defend the accusations. Meanwhile, Pete is stunned when he has jury duty.
Our Take
A middling hour that leans too hard on Nick’s bleeding heart routine, and the case never builds much tension because you can see the verdict coming early. Pete’s jury duty subplot is the livelier half, giving Jerry O’Connell room to be funny instead of just charming. It passes the time fine, but there are stronger episodes of this show worth seeking out first.
