Episode Summary & Review
In Italy the trio compare restomods, the Totem GT Super and the Prodrive P25, then hunt for the toughest production car ever made, putting a Lexus LS400, a Volvo 240 Estate and a Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor through deliberate abuse, with an assist from Richard Hammond at his restoration shop, The Smallest Cog.
Our take: the Hammond cameo is the emotional high point, the old gang explicitly telling the new one to carry on. The durability stunts are simple, violent fun, and the Italian restomod test is the best actual car journalism of the season.
