Summary
Richard Hammond travels to Cyprus to pit the Porshe Cayenne Turbo S against the RAF’s freefall parachute display team, the Red Devils. Jeremy employs a top interior designer to convert a Mercedes S Class into the ultimate luxury car and actor Ewan McGregor buckles up as the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.
Our Take
A solid hour with the usual mix of stunts and silliness. The Cayenne versus the Red Devils is exactly the kind of absurd premise this show does well, and Ewan McGregor turns out to be genuinely charming company in the interview. The Mercedes interior makeover is a one-joke idea stretched a bit thin, but the rest carries it. Worth your time.
