Summary
The Yorkshire Dales provide the backdrop for an epic contest between three exquisite cars, the Jaguar XK, the BMW650i and the Mercedes SL350, and a frozen lake in Iceland is the setting for a race between a powerful rally car and a jet powered kayak. Chef Gordon Ramsay is the star in the reasonably priced car.
Our Take
A properly silly hour that reminds you why this trio works so well. The Yorkshire Dales drive is gorgeous, the Iceland race is exactly the kind of absurd stunt the show does best, and Ramsay turns out to be a genuinely funny guest who can actually drive. The middle car comparison section drags a bit, but the rest earns the rating.
