Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Mother’s Milk finds a Supe who can read the Woman’s mind and find out her backstory. Vought forces the Deep to go public about his sexual harassment of Starlight, and Annie and Hughie make plans for a trip to the Bahamas.
Our Take
A quieter hour that leans on backstory, and it mostly earns it. The Woman’s history lands with real weight, and Starlight’s slow-burn frustration with Vought keeps building nicely. The Deep’s public apology subplot is uncomfortable in a way that feels intentional, though some of the middle stretches drag. Not the season’s flashiest episode, but it sets the table well for what’s coming.
