The Female of the Species

Episode Summary & Review

Summary

Our Take

The plane sequence is the standout here, genuinely tense and the closest the show gets to real horror. The Hughie and Annie date is sweet in a way that makes you nervous, which is the point. The Deep’s subplot is hit or miss, mostly playing his sleaze for laughs. A strong hour that finally pushes the season’s bigger pieces into motion.
