Episode Summary & Review
Summary
Archer and the gang are hired by renowned director, Ellis Crane, to investigate suspicious activity on the set of his new movie, Deadly Velvet.
Our Take
A fun change of pace that puts the crew on a film set, and the Hollywood satire mostly lands, even if the jokes come slower than usual. Krieger and Cheryl get the best material while the mystery itself stays pretty thin. Worth a watch for fans, but it’s setup for the finale more than a satisfying episode on its own.
