Summary
Archer is finally tracked down in the South Pacific by handsome adventurer Rip Riley in order to return him to ISIS.
Our Take
A strong season premiere that leans into its Indiana Jones riff without overdoing it. Archer’s post-fiancée meltdown is exactly as petty and self-absorbed as you’d hope, and Rip Riley makes a great foil with his old-school adventurer schtick. It’s mostly setup for the three-part arc, but the jokes land consistently and Burt Reynolds… sorry, Rip… earns his spot. Worth your time.
