Episode Summary & Review
Summary
While Juan reconnects with family, Abbi and Tilda meet another test subject with powers of his own. Investigators start to hunt for the Imperfects.
Our Take
This one leans harder into Juan’s backstory than the monster-of-the-week stuff, and it mostly pays off. The family reunion stuff has real weight to it, though the investigators subplot moves at a crawl and feels like setup for later episodes. A solid middle chapter that’s more character work than thrills, and it earns its runtime without ever feeling essential.
