Summary
The jarred skull leads Lucy to Bickerstaff’s home. The team accepts an invite to the Fittes ball, hoping to snag a rare book from the company library.
Our Take
The haunted house sequence is the best scare the show has pulled off yet, genuinely tense and well paced. The ball stuff is lighter and a bit slower, but the class friction between Lockwood’s crew and the Fittes crowd gives it some bite. A strong hour that balances horror and world-building without either feeling shortchanged.
