Our Take
A big, satisfying finale that mostly earns its length, though at two and a half hours it definitely could have trimmed the fat. The split battles in the Upside Down and the Creel House give almost everyone a real moment, and Max’s confrontation with Vecna is genuinely hard to watch in the best way. Eddie gets a proper sendoff, even if the slow-motion guitar heroics run a bit long. Worth it, just pace yourself.
