Summary
Max is in grave danger… and running out of time. A patient at Pennhurst asylum has visitors. Elsewhere, in Russia, Hopper is hard at work.
Our Take
This is the emotional high point of the season so far, carried almost entirely by Sadie Sink, who gets the spotlight and runs with it. The Kate Bush sequence is genuinely chilling and earns its reputation, though the Russia subplot continues to drag the momentum down every time it cuts away. Worth watching even if the season has felt uneven to you.
