Episode Summary & Review
Summary
The Elrics come face to face with Father – and his face is familiar indeed. Powerless and amazed, Ed and Al can only watch as Father creates a new Homunculus with alchemy that should be impossible.
Our Take
A genuinely unsettling hour that finally pulls back the curtain on the big bad, and the reveal lands harder than expected thanks to how casually Father shrugs off everything the brothers can throw at him. The impromptu human transmutation scene is the highlight, chilling in its ease. Some of the dialogue gets overly explanatory, but the dread carries it. Worth your time.
