Summary

In Iceland, Ubbe and Torvi finally meet a mysterious wanderer. Bjorn is forced to rethink who his enemies are when Erik returns from a scouting mission with worrying information. Bjorn will need allies, but can he convince his old foe, King Harald, to join forces in the face of the new threat? Ivar is reunited with someone close to him.

Our Take

This is mostly a setup hour, and it moves slower than the rating suggests it should. The Iceland scenes carry the episode, with Ubbe’s strange encounter giving the season its most intriguing thread in a while. Back in Kattegat, the Bjorn and Harald negotiations feel like table-clearing for later. Worth watching for the ending alone, but don’t expect much momentum before that.
