Summary
Ivar and Igor may be plotting against Oleg, but they’re still part of the force that departs Kiev to invade Scandinavia. King Harald and King Bjorn begin furious preparations for the invasion. But can enough be done to resist the Rus force?
Our Take
A slow-build war preparation episode that mostly works because the character beats are strong. Ivar’s scheming with Igor gives the hour its spine, though the Bjorn and Harald material feels like treading water until the invasion actually starts. Worth watching, but don’t expect much forward movement.
